The Halfpenny Folk Club

Welcome to the Halfpenny Folk Club and Gower Folk Festival Web site!

This site is full of information about Folk Music in South West Wales and, in particular, about the Halfpenny Folk Club and the Gower Folk Festival. Both are located at venues on the beautiful Gower Peninsula; Britain's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

The photo-links on the left of the screen will take you to the main info pages. These include the latest Folk Club Newsletter and plans for the  Gower Folk Festival on the second weekend in June this year.

The Folk Link page contains a number of useful information sources including the formidable Digital Folk Tradition song database and The World Folk Resource page.

The Halfpenny Folk Club runs every Sunday night at The Greyhound Inn, Oldwalls, Llanrhidian, Gower SA3 1HA. (The Greyhound Inn)

The Gower Folk Festival takes place on the second weekend in June at The Gower Heritage Centre, Parkmill, Gower SA3 2EH ( www.gowerheritagecentre.co.uk )
